New Zealand manager Ricki Herbert has revealed the 23 players selected to face Mexico in Mexico City and Wellington in a two-legged playoff to qualify for the World Cup Finals.

The team includes two players who are unattached, 11 who play at the A-League and a dozen who play outside Oceania. The foreign-based players include West Ham defender Winston Reid, Stuttgart forward Marco Rojas and Marsellie's Bill Tuiloma.

The All Whites will face a Mexico team composed entirely of domestic-based players in the first leg with new Mexico manager Miguel Herrera electing not to name Hector Moreno, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, Gio dos Santos or any other Mexican playing outside Liga MX to his team.
