The Puebla defender joins the team to replace LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez, who has been ruled out with a left hip strain after being subbed off at halftime of his last club match.
Orozco has made five appearances for the USA in 2013 and has 10 caps overall.
The U.S. national team has already booked its place in the 2014 World Cup and will be looking to close out qualifying as the top team in the CONCACAF Hexagonal for the third time in a row. Jurgen Klinsmann's side currently holds a one-point edge over Costa Rica at the top of the group.
