Mexico players meet in capital ahead of Denmark friendly

Twenty of the 21 players reported to the High Performance center in preparation for Wednesday's match.
The Mexican national team convened Monday morning in the capital, after an intense weekend of club activity around the country.

Twenty of the 21 players called by Chepo de la Torre for Wednesday’s friendly in Phoenix against Denmark reported to the High Performance Center in Mexico, DF, to prepare for the trip.

Santos forward Oribe Peralta will meet the team in Arizona, rather than traveling south to the capital.

De la Torre called in a fully domestic squad for the Denmark friendly, which will serve as preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifier versus Jamaica, in Estadio Azteca on Feb. 6.

El Tri’s busy 2013 also includes the Gold Cup and Confederations Cup in Brazil.
