thumbnail Hello,

The Mexican forward maintained his fine form, scoring against Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.

It is safe to say that Mexican forward Carlos Vela has settled in quite nicely with Real Sociedad after finally getting a full transfer from Arsenal this past summer.

The constantly loaned forward found the net again for his new permanent home, as his 45th-minute goal pulled Sociedad level with Deportivo La Coruna and forced a 1-1 draw on Sunday. Vela bodied off a defender to run onto an errant touch, cut inside the box and blasted a left-footed shot inside the far post to score his eighth goal of the season and his sixth goal in his last eight league games.

The 23-year-old Vela, who has started 16 of Sociedad's 19 La Liga matches, is closing in on his single-season high of 12 goals. He set that mark last year while on loan with Sociedad from the Gunners.
