Giovani dos Santos has returned to training for Mallorca, after being sidelined for two weeks with a thigh strain.
The Mexican forward could be available for this week’s trip to Madrid to face Rayo Vallecano, after sitting out since the 10th round of games early this month.
Dos Santos has seen limited action for the Balearic side after joining from Tottenham over the summer. His first game came in week 8, after the Mexican sat out the opening months of the season with an injury picked up in this summer’s Olympic Games.
Dos Santos contributed two assists in his debut against Sevilla, and has turned out a total of three times this season for Mallorca.
