Coming off a two-goal effort in the Champions League, Chicharito could find himself in Manchester United's starting lineup moving forward.
“The kid is getting better all the time,” the Scotsman told ITV. “He practices well all the time and his relationship with the goal is fantastic.”
The coach opted for a three forward line including the Mexican, Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney, and the offense seemed to click at times, with Hernandez doing the finishing.
After Manchester fell behind two goals, Chicharito scored the home team’s first. In the second half, the Mexican got his second off a Tom Cleverley pass to secure the 3-2 victory.
“It was a great cross by Cleverley for the second goal, but Chicharito’s movement behind the defense was phenomenal,” Sir Alex said.
With Hernandez’s continued good form, Ferguson says he’ll have a dilemma going forward as to how to select his team.
“Hernandez has got me thinking,” Ferguson said. “Him, Van Persie, Rooney, I don't know what to do with them to be honest.”
