The Premier League club had its manager Brendan Rofgers take in the Mexico-Wales game this weekend to reportedly track the talented Mexican.
Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers was spotted in the stands of the MetLife Stadium this weekend in New Jersey, as he tracked potential summer signings according to Mexican and British media outlets.
Rodgers' focus of attention was Tottenham forward Giovani dos Santos, according to RECORD, with the Northern Irish manager "vigilant" to the progress and play of the talented 23-year-old.
The Daily Mail also reported that Rodgers is looking to get Dos Santos loaned out to the Welsh outfit for the 2012-13, a difficult task considering Tottenham has been telling suitors the player will only be sold.
Dos Santos himself has been actively looking to exit White Hart Lane, with the player hitting out at his club for providing "unconvincing answers" as to why he has yet to be sold.
With Wales facing Mexico in their international friendly, Rodgers was also able to track the progress of Swansea players Neil Taylor, Ashley Williams, Joe Allen and Ashley Richards who were selected for international duty by Chris Coleman.
