thumbnail Hello,

De la Torre announced a preliminary squad to face Colombia featuring foreign-based players, with domestic additions to be rolled in next week.

The Mexican national team announced a partial roster, featuring Europe- and U.S.-based players, for its friendly against Colombia on Feb. 29.

The 11-man list includes a recall for Barcelona midfielder Jonathan Dos Santos, who flirted with quitting international soccer for good after being left off the 2010 World Cup squad. Dos Santos has begun carving out minutes with reigning La Liga champion Barca, starting in Feb. 4's win over Real Sociedad.

The 21-year-old central midfielder will join brother Giovani on Jose Manuel “Chepo” de la Torre's roster. Domestic-based players will be announced next week. The friendly will take place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Fla.
