Former Barcelona and Celtic midfielder Marc Crosas has signed for Mexican side Santos Laguna for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old Spaniard had moved from the Scottish giants to Russian outfit Volga in February 2011, but has now swapped eastern Europe for North America, signing a three-year contract.

The Estadio Corona Torreon team is official partners with Celtic, and Crosas has became the first player to ply his trade with both clubs.

The news was revealed on Twitter by the Mexian side's chairman, Alejandro Irarragorri.

The move means that the midfielder will now have played in five different leagues in his short career, with the Sant Feliu de Guixols-born midfielder having represented Barcelona, Celtic, Lyon, Volga and now Benjamin Galindo's men.
