Tigres' Jorge Torres Nilo in the dark over Benfica interest
The Mexican full back claims that neither the club nor himself have been contacted by the Portuguese giants, who are known to be interested in a new left-sided defender

Mexican sources had suggested that the Portuguese club was lining up a move for the 23-year-old defender as it looks to increase the number of options available for the rearguard.
"The truth is that I do not know anything about it," Torres Nilo told TeleDiario. "I learned about this from the press but, as I have said before, I am focused on Tigres. If an offer had arrived, I would know, and so would the board. But there is no news."
Benfica has reportedly turned to Torres Nilo after failing in an effort to pull Cristian Ansaldi away from Rubin Kazan.
The Argentina international has ruled out a move to the Estadio da Luz in January after claiming that Benfica's offer fell short of the club's demands.
Torres Nilo, who has 16 international caps for Mexico to his name, has also been linked with Sevilla in recent weeks.
