After America's season ended Sunday, out-of-contract midfielder Pavel Pardo faced a decision: look for offers elsewhere or re-sign with las Aguilas.
Two days later, he signed a new deal with America. However, he may still be eyeing offers from abroad.
Pardo signed a six-month contract with America, which will keep him with the Mexico City club through the end of the Clausura 2011 season. Afterward, he will be free to move abroad.
According to Mexican daily Record, Pardo is interested in joining Major League Soccer and has had several offers from MLS clubs already.
The 34-year-old led America to the semifinals of the Apertura 2010 season before the club was sent packing by Santos Laguna.
