His red card against Jaguares will cost him an extra match.

Omar Bravo has been suspended an additional match after the Chivas forward was handed his punishment from the Mexican Football Federation.

Bravo was sent off for stepping on Omar Serrano's ankle in a 3-0 loss to Jaguares on Saturday. Initially Xavier Baez was shown red but Bravo was eventually correctly sent off. After reviewing video of the incident, the FMF slapped Bravo with an additional game of suspension.

Thus, Bravo will miss Chivas' game against Tigres Saturday as well as the first Clasico Tapatio played in the Estadio Omnilife, a fixture against Atlas on Oct. 2.
