Manchester United new boy Javier Hernandez can't wait to face his 'PlayStation heroes' when he lines up for Mexico against England on Monday.

The 21-year-old signed for the Red Devils in April for a reported £10 million ($USD 14.47 million), though he is awaiting a work permit to finalise the move. A good performance for his national side should go along way to sealing the deal, as well as giving him his first taste of British football.

Speaking to the Daily Express, Hernandez said he would be "living a dream" when he lines up against Fabio Capello's men.

“I got goose bumps when I realized I would be joining Manchester United," Hernandez said.

“These are the things you dream about. I longed for a move to Europe when I was a kid watching lots of football on television. In Mexico, United have a huge following.

“Suddenly I’m going to be playing with the players I know from PlayStation and television. I’m living a dream. I thank God I am living it.

"I’m just full of gratitude to those who helped me accomplish this. I want to do great things here.”
