Morelia 0-1 Atlante: Potros Win First Road Match Of Season

Atlante beat Morelia 1-0 to claim their first win of the season on the road.

Atlante's fate in away games had been downright terrible this season, but that mattered little in their trip to Michoacan.

Atlante scored midway through the first half and held on to beat Morelia 1-0 at Estadio Morelos.

The win was Atlante's first of the season on the road. Their only other win this season came at home as the club has struggled through much of their campaign.

Morelia helped Atlante out by not converting a penalty. In the 5th minute, Sabah lined up a spot kick but Federico Vilar stood strong and made the save.

Christian Bermudez put Atlante ahead and gave the club the only goal they would need when he dribbled down the right flank and Johan Fano knocked the ball into the back of the net.

Morelia, who struggled to put goals away in their midweek Copa Libertadores match against Deportivo Cuenca, also had their share of problems against Atlante.
