Ochoa, Vuoso Back For Mexico's Match Against North Korea
Guillermo Ochoa is back on the team after missing El Tri's first two games of 2010 as Javier Aguirre announced the players who will participate in Mexico's next friendly, on Wednesday against North Korea. Santos' Matias Vuoso also returns, after a much-longer absence.
Ochoa and Chivas 'keeper Luis Ernesto Michel are the two goalkeepers on the squad, as Monterrey's Jonathan Orozco was not called up to the match.
Another player who had seen some time with El Tri and is back in the mix is Vicente Matias Vuoso. The naturalized Mexican international last played for El Tri under Sven-Goran Eriksson. The call-up was likely a nod to the game's venue as much as it is a chance for Vuoso to showcase his skills and state his case. Mexico-North Korea will be played at Territorio Santos Modelo, where Vuoso plays his home games with Santos.
However, not even playing a game there was enough to bring back Oswaldo Sanchez, who along with Vuoso was one of several players dropped by Aguirre when he assumed control of El Tri a year ago.
Other players who have not yet had a chance to show their worth this year include Juan Carlos Valenzuela of America, Chivas' Patricio Araujo, Tigres' Jesus Molina and Atlante's Daniel Arreola.
Since the match is not an international fixture date, most of the roster is based at home. The lone foreign-based player on the squad is Barcelona youngster Jonathan Dos Santos.
Roster
Goalkeeper: Guillermo Ochoa (America), Luis Ernesto Michel (Chivas).
Defenders: Oscar Rojas (America), Jose Antonio Castro (Tigres), Jonny Magallon (Chivas), Juan Carlos Valenzuela (America), Jorge Torres Nilo (Atlas).

Forwards: Alberto Medina (Chivas), Cuauhtemoc Blanco (Veracruz), Angel Reyna (America), Javier Hernandez (Chivas), Vicente Matias Vuoso (Santos).
