Chivas’ defender Jonny Magallon hopes to add an eight consecutive win as the team faces San Luis on Saturday night. Magallon sees San Luis as a difficult team to face and is not concentrating on keeping Chivas’ perfect record.

Though San Luis are in mid-table range for defensive and offensive duties, Magallon believes that San Luis will do more than defend.

“I don’t know. It could be that they come to defend a bit more, but what I can say is that they also have great forwards. I think that they’re going to come looking, I don’t think that they’ll close up. I’ve seen them play, and they’re very organized. They also have dangerous people up front so I think they’re coming here to propose a game and look for a result, waiting for us to make a mistake. We’ll try to play smart as well; concentrated and how we’ve been up to this moment, strong,” Magallon said in a press conference Friday.

The last time the two teams met San Luis left with a 4-0 score line at home. This time around the game will take place at the Jalisco Stadium but for the defender the game is not about revenge.

"You don’t look to get one thing for another but the revenge has to be with oneself. It has to be week by week to show that things are not a coincidence, that they’ve come about because of work. We have the opportunity to always do things right in every game and get the three points. So I think that in that way it’s personal revenge and [we] have to think in playing a good game and getting the three points."

According to the defender, San Luis will bring along some confidence to the game against Chivas after winning 3-1 against Atlas making it difficult to achieve the eighth consecutive win of the game.

"Many things have been achieved and it was difficult to imagine that we’d be in this situation. We’ve always looked to win every game and we’ve gone step by step. Now we’re facing a great rival like San Luis that’s coming off a win. They’re coming with confidence, we know that the team has merit with people that know what it’s about. It’s going to be difficult but we’re thinking about doing things well on Saturday, in getting the three points which is what we’ve thought about every game and by consequence hopefully we can get the eighth win."
