Jaguares Sack Tena After Poor Bicentenario Start

Jaguares have just two points to show for four regular-season games and have sacked manager Luis Fernando Tena.

After starting the Bicentenario 2010 season with an 0-2-2 mark, Jaguares have sacked manager Luis Fernando Tena.

Jaguares' officials were apparently undone by Sunday's 3-0 loss at Estudiantes, who previously had not won a league match.

Tena took over Jaguares before the start of the Apertura 2009 season but Jaguares managed just a 5-8-4 record in his first season with the club.

Tena, who has managed Morelia and America as well as Jaguares before, had his shortest managerial stint with this sacking. He lasted only 21 games with Jaguares this go-round, five games less than the 26 games he spent with Cruz Azul in 2004.
