Pumas' Ferretti Not Pleased With Scoreless Draw

Pumas have three shutouts in three games this season but manager Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti is not pleased with his team's overall performance.

Pumas picked up a shutout on Sunday, stopping Toluca's offense cold. In fact, Pumas' defense has been unpenetrable this season as the club has yet to allow a goal.

But manager Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti was still not pleased with his team's latest performance.

"It was an intense, hard-fought match," Ferretti said in a press conference following Pumas' 0-0 draw with Toluca. "Naturally, the result does not leave us satisfied. The opportunities came but we were not able to complete any of then, and we had a good team in front of us."

Martin Bravo came closest to scoring but his 82nd-minute shot went off the crossbar.

Pumas' meager attack now has gone two games without scoring, and has room for improvement despite a solid start defensively.

"The team is doing well but can improve," Ferretti said. "We need to keep working. If you want to make comparisons - which I do not like to do - what we do this season will be better than we did last season, but that wouldn't do me any good. What I want is to obtain good results but (Sunday's) does not satisfy me."
