Ponce Leaves Chivas For Tigres
Chivas lost Sergio Amaury Ponce when the seldom-used player decided to test his fate with Tigres UANL.
The move was announced through a press release but it won’t be permanent and will be a year-long loan.
“Sinergia Deportiva informs that an agreement has been reached with the management of Club Guadalajara and the midfielder Sergio Amaury Ponce to play with Tigres of UANL on loan for the Clausura and Apertura 2010 tournaments. The 28-year-old player will arrive in the city [Monterrey] on Saturday, December 26 to undergo medical tests.”
Ponce played 13 games with Chivas in the Apertura 2009 and started only eight of them.
