Hernandez Leaves Cruz Azul, Returns To Chile
Emilio Hernandez has returned to his native Chile after a poor season with Cruz Azul.
The Chilean midfielder returned to his native country and re-joined Universidad de Chile.
Hernandez started nine games for Cruz Azul but was replaced in every match. he played a total of 684 minutes. His longest outing of the season was 64 minutes, in a match against Toluca. He came on as a substitute in seven more games, including the second leg of the Apertura 2009 final against Monterrey.
Hernandez will try and win a starting spot with Unversidad de Chile and will try and help the club succeed in the 2010 Copa Libertadores tournament.
