Goal.com Player Of The Decade – Vote For Your Favorite
Who was the best player in the world for each position between 2000 and 2010? And who was the best player outright? Join Goal.com as we launch Goal.com Readers Player Of The Decade.
Our editors and journalists from all over the globe have come together to choose a shortlist for each position, from which you users must vote.
The series kicks off on Monday, December 21 with Goal.com Goalkeeper of the Decade, and from then on we will open the voting for two positions each day until Christmas Day.
The voting will then close on Sunday, December 27, and we will reveal all the winners on Monday, December 28 who received the most votes for each position.
Then, to cap off the decade, these 11 players will make up their own poll from which readers will vote for their overall Goal.com Player of the Decade. The result of this will be announced on New Years Day, on Friday, January 1.
