America’s Jesus Ramirez: We Had A Good Season
Despite the early exit in the Liguilla Jesus Ramirez applauded his team for having a good season.
“The one who forgives always loses and today we didn’t have the continuity to finish the game. The goal wasn’t enough today and I think we need to look at the good things in the season, rebuild, and start heading forward,” said Jesus Ramirez in a press conference.
Jesus Ramirez recognized the power of his squad. America played well through out the whole season up until the end. The thing that has plagued them in the past once again plagued them in the closing games of the season. The lack of goals became a problem for America but all in all Ramirez knows he had a good team.
“It was a real good tournament we always remained at the top of the table,” noted “Chucho”. “We were good offensively and I would have loved to culminate it with a victory today. I have to thank the player’s effort and the love of our fans.”
America made great strides in improving from last season. The team got better in all aspects. Jesus does not pin the blame on just the offense but on the entire team’s failure to close out the game.
“We were missing the continuity through out the whole team. It’s obvious that I can not point the blame on just one person. The team played great but we just couldn’t score,” sentenced Ramirez.
