Entering the final weekend of the Apertura 2009 season, six teams have clinched Liguilla berths while four teams are battling for two remaining spots.

While the final matchups will not be determined until the end of the season, the calendar for the playoffs has already been mapped out.

The Mexican Football Federation announced that the Liguilla would begin on Nov. 21-22, with one full week between games. The second leg of the quarterfinals will be played on Nov. 28-29.

However, the semifinals will kick off just days after those pairings are set as the first legs will be played on Dec. 2-3, with return legs on Dec. 5-6.

The first leg of the Mexican league final will be played on Thursday, Dec. 10 and the second and decisive leg will be played on Sunday, Dec. 13.
