Atlas' Daniel Osorno Blames Front Office
After yet another bad season Daniel Osorno has only the people pulling the string to blame.
“We don't get involved with the topic of the front office but I understand that amongst themselves they are very greedy and they don't want what's best for the team. And that is very bad,” Osorno told Mural.
The selling of the club has been news with players like Barcelona’s Rafael Marquez interested in buying a share in the club. With that in mind the owners did not want to take part in what happed with the team.
“As a player you always have to realize when things are going bad, but how are they going to demand results from us if they are not 100 percent behind us? Hopefully they value us and if they are going to make a profit (on the club), then make it now because if they are in the red and saying that they don't have any money or anything, then they need to do what's best for the club,” admitted Osorno.
Atlas has gone a long time with out a title. The reason why according to Osorno is because they do not spend enough money. Of course money doesn’t buy you titles, but like in any good business you need to spend some money to make some money.
“I've seen how Tigres and Santos reloaded and invested money into the club to try and avoid relegation. So if they don't invest any money we are going to continue in the same mess as always, we're going to continue adding to these 50 years without a title,” said Osorno.
