Tigres Sink Four Against Atlante
Tigres took advantage of Atlante's handicaps by blowing four past them.

Tigres is out of the Liguilla, but the win will help them in the battle against relegation. Atlante's Liguilla dreams are over with the loss.
First Half
The game had barely taken off when Atlante found themselves trailing by one goal.
Gaston Fernandez found the back of the net after just 2 minutes of play. Lucas Lobos started the play with a great filtered pass to the Brazilian Itamar Batista. Batista touched the end line and passed the ball back. Fernandez was in the right spot and only had to tap it in to give Tigres the lead.
Atlante had the equalizer in the 13th minute only to see it be taken away. Guillermo Rojas swung the ball into the box. Alejandro Villalobos tried to clear it but couldn't. Christian "El Hobit" Bermudez was ready to pounce on it but Cirilo Saucedo got there just in time to snatch it away.
Tigres were not looking for more goals instead Atlante was the one attacking and trying to earn a spot in the Liguilla. The felines however did propose on set plays.
Jesus Antonio Molina had great one for Tigres in the 32nd minute. Molina connected with his head off a corner from Lucas Lobos. The ball beat Federico Vilar but it could not beat the crossbar. Itamar got the rebound but his shot was blocked by the defense.
Tigres were awarded a penalty in the 36th minute. Fernando Navarro handled the ball inside the box which prompted the penalty. Gaston Fernandez took shot and made it. Tigres lead 2-0 and things were just going to get better.
Atlante would lose Guillermo Rojas thanks to a second yellow that he picked up. Atlantes manager, Jose Guadalupe Cruz would also be sent off after entering the field in protest.
Tigres took a comfortable lead into the half.
Second Half
With Atlante in shambles, Tigres took the initiative in the second half. They arrived at the goal several times but nothing resulted from it.
Atlante tried to make something work offensively but their attacks always resulted in nothing.
Atlantes day kept getting worse after Luis Velazquez was sent off for taking down Itamar Batista inside the box. The penalty was called and Batista lined up to take it. The Brazilian struck a soft ball which Vilar stopped. Tigres missed a great gift from their opponents.
Tigres would repair the miss one minute later though.
Jose Antonio "Gringo" Castro would score for Tigres in the 67th minute. Castro drove his shot in after getting the bounce from a corner kick. His shot slipped past the keeper and gave Tigres a 3 goal lead.
The other Gringo also wanted in on the action, so he scored one too.
Edgar Castillo drove down the left and beat four opponents. He then had a go with his right which beat a fully extended Vilar. Tigres' lead ballooned to 4.
The game ended with a 4-0 thrashing courtesy of Tigres.
