America Expect Nothing Less Than A Win Against Queretaro

America will hope to win in a convincing manner against a struggling Queretaro.

Salvador Cabanas- America (Mexsport)
It will be David vs. Goliath when America visits Queretaro. These two teams are different in every way. America is obviously the giant who place themselves in second place, while Queretaro, the weaker of the two, locates themselves in dead last. The only real question that will have to arise from this encounter is how many goals will America score this time?

Salvador Cabañas finally has help up top. After being the only scoring weapon for America in the recent tournaments the once lone striker has some back up. Daniel Montenegro, Angel Reyna, Israel Martinez and Enrique Esqueda have all proven to be the weapons Las Aguilas were looking for.  The offense has a new face and has proven it with 21 goals already scored in the season, which is the highest in the table.

The back line for America has also proven to have improved since last season. Aquivaldo Mosquera is a deadlock for every game. The Colombian seems a little reckless at times but his physical presence is something that teams around the world would love to have. Oscar Rojas is also a huge part in the defense. Rojas has great ball control and can drive the ball up the flanks with ease making him an important part not only in the defense but the offense as well.

But enough gloating on how good America is instead why not talk about how good Queretaro is.

There is one problem to that. Queretaro isn’t good. The new team on the block has not won a single game in the tournament. They’ve only been able to muster up two ties against Puebla and Jaguares. Los Gallos Blancos beat out Chivas and fired their coach Hector Medrano earlier in the season. Now Carlos Reinoso, who loves America, is at the helm of the team. Things can certainly get worse for Queretaro and especially against America.

Americas has already dismantled Estudiantes by 5 goals and scored 7 against Superlider Toluca, one can only imagine the devastation that will be inflicted in the Corregidora.
