Atlas' Lavolpe Suspended Three Games
Atlas manager Ricardo Lavolpe has been suspended for three games following a red card ejection against San Luis on Friday.
The club's manager was sent off during Atlas' 0-0 draw with San Luis in Jornada 7. After the weekend's games were complete, the Mexican Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee slapped Lavolpe with a three-match suspension.
According to the FMF, Lavolpe called the official a derogatory term after he was shown a red card.
Atlas, who have not won since Jornada 3, host Cruz Azul next week, then will follow it up by games at Toluca and against Tigres.
