Chivas' Arellano Won't Rush Return
Chivas' young and injured striker Omar Arellano said he is happy and pain-free but won't rush his return.
Now, Arellano isn’t certain when he will return, but is taking the recovery slowly and expects to return past the Jornada 6.
The Chivas player feels fine after the injury. The last time that the player underwent a similar injury he underwent a surgery, but such serious paths have been avoided this time.
“I’m very happy. I feel well, there’s no pain, there’s no bothers. Physically, I feel fine and I’ve started physical work with a ball. I’m moving,” Arellano told Mural. “Things have to be taken with cautiously. This week will be important. There’ll be tests to go through and we’ll see how things turn out.”
Arellano isn’t about to rush his injury. He’s had problems and is taking things slowly to not delay his comeback.
“I’m not thinking about coming back in the Jornada 5 or Jornada 6. First, I’m thinking of my foot which is the principal thing. I have to be well with no muscle bothers because they could come because of the absence of activity. But, it will be for three or four Jornadas more; the time that is necessary.”
At the moment the Chivas front line is packed with the addition of Omar Bravo. After Omar Arellano is added into the mix there will be more to work with for manager ‘Paco’ Ramirez.
“I think that this injury has kept me out the longest. My level of play hasn’t gone down, or anything like that, but I want to be well. Later I of course want to win a place,” added Arellano. “How? On the pitch, training, with the minutes that I’ll get. I have to give all of myself because the competition is strong.”
