Omar Bravo Returns Home, Re-Joins Chivas
Omar Bravo is back where it all started as he re-joined Chivas on Thursday.
Previously, Chivas owner Jorge Vergara had said that there would be no new additions to the squad for the Apertura 2009 season.
It was Deportivo who first made the news public when they announced on their website that Omar Bravo was let go, and that negotiations would begin with the Mexican club. A few hours later, Chivas received the official transfer players for their former player.
At 5:09 p.m. Guadalajara time, Chivas released a statement on the official club website about the acquisition of the player.
“Club Deportivo Guadalajara S.A. de C.V informs that from this day forward, Mr. Omar Bravo Tordecillas, former player of Club Deportivo La Coruña, will arrive to the institution as a reinforcement for the team of the Primera Division for the seasons of the Apertura 2009 and Clausura 2010.”
