Azteca Sold Out For US-Mexico

All remaining tickets were sold out by Monday, a day after El Tricolor beat the US 5-0 in the Gold Cup final.

Estadio Azteca will be filled to the brim on Aug. 12.

More than two weeks before Mexico hosts the United States in a World Cup qualifying match, all tickets have been sold for the team's critical meeting.

Mexico apparently rode a wave of euphoria after Sunday's 5-0 Gold Cup win over the U.S. that helped drive ticket sales.

"The Mexican national is grateful for the unconditional support of its Number 12, who always supports, motivates and encourages," the FMF said in a press release.
