Transfer Rumours And Round-Up: June 29/30
Goal.com takes a look at another 24 hours in the transfer market.

There has been both destruction and progression when it comes to alleged transfer dealings involving clubs from the Premier League. Alexandre Pato's Chelsea switch from AC Milan appears to have been halted, although another report seems to confirm that the 'Russian Ronaldinho', Yuri Zhirkov, will sign for the Stamford Bridge outfit on Wednesday.
Milan's city rivals Inter, meanwhile, appear to have agreed a fee with Steve McClaren's FC Twente side for Marko Arnautovic. €10 million is the mooted amount, although there could be discrepancy over the payment policy. Inter want to sign the player on an initial loan, with a view to purchase later.
Blackburn Rovers may have lost star striker Roque Santa Cruz to mega-rich Manchester City, but that has not dented the club's ambitions to bring in talent, too, as the Lancashire side officially sign Lars Jacobsen.
Despite the apparent high-profile nature of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's name, neither Real Madrid nor Barcelona are interested in the player, as the Swede's agent insists contact is yet to be made.
Even though Real have already landed two extraordinary coups in Brazilian attacker Kaka and World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo, Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery continues to be linked with them, along with Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United, but general manager Uli Hoeness has attempted to quell any notion that the Frenchman will be allowed to leave Germany this summer.
One midfielder who could be joining the revolution at the Bernabeu is deep-lying playmaker Xabi Alonso, who has refused to play down speculation linking him with an Anfield exit.
