Mexicans Abroad: Rafa's Misfortune
Both Vela and Dos Santos scored in England, Hugo's mission accomplished in Spain, Nery Castillo continues without playing and Rafa Márquez's fragility.
Carlos Vela scored his first Premier League goal and will hope to feature in the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Manchester United.
Good and bad news from Spain, as Hugo Sánchez’s Almería avoided relegation thanks to an impressive home record.
While Rafael Márquez suffered an abrupt season-ending knee injury midweek against Chelsea and will now have to miss the remainder of Barcelona’s impressive campaign.
Elsewhere, Héctor Moreno is not 100% fit and will most likely not see any action with AZ with two matches left in the Eredivisie.
