Pachuca routed America, Toluca and Morelia also pick up road wins as Week 4 of Mexico's Clausura 2009 season is in the books.

Ulises Mendivil- America vs Pachuca (Mexsport)
Pachuca 3, America 1

Pachuca continued their dominance of America in Estadio Azteca as los Tuzos left Mexico City with the full three points. Ulises Mendevil and Christain "Chaco" Gimenez scored early in the first and second half, respectively, as Pachuca got off to a comfortable start in both halves. Mendevil's goal was courtesy of an error by goalkeeper Armando Navarette, who misplayed a ball that led to a quick counterattack from the visitors. Navarette was also to blame for Gimenez's goal, as he was not set when Gimenez struck his free kick, and the Argentine easily knocked the ball into the back of the net. Salvador Cabanas gave the hosts a flicker of hope with a 65th-minute goal but Blas Perez put the game out of reach in the 81st minute.

Morelia 1, Pumas 0

Morelia pulled off a mild upset with a 1-0 victory over Pumas in Ciudad Universitaria. Morelia's Andres Mendoza scored his first goal of the season and 11th since joining Morelia before the Apertura 2008 season. Adrian Aldrete played a long ball over the top of Pumas' defense and Mendoza banged a shot off the right post and over the goal line for the goal, which came in the 12th minute. Pumas' attack was futile as Morelia's defense clamped down and ensured they would walk away with the full three points.

Toluca 2, Puebla 0

Hector Raul Mancilla scored his fifth goal of the season as Toluca easily defeated the host Camoteros. Mancilla scored the match-winner in the 29th minute as all five of his goals this year have come in the first half. Alonso Granados doubled Toluca's lead with two minutes to spare as los Diablos Rojos put Puebla away for good.

Santos 0, Indios 0

A pair of teams in a tying mood of late decided to finish their game in a scoreless deadlock. Santos has now tied its last two encounters while Indios has drawn three consecutive matches now. Santos' Oswaldo Sanchez and Matias Vuoso missed the game due to national team duty.
