Eriksson Names Mexico Squad To Face U.S.
With their match against the U.S. rapidly approaching, Sven-Goran Eriksson has named his squad that will be available on February 11th in Columbus.
The team is made up of mostly non-surprise picks, with Giovanni Dos Santos being the one selection that will be a shock to some, given the limited action he has with his club team, Tottenham Hotspur.
Included in the 24-man squad are regulars Rafa Marquez, Oswaldo Sanchez, and Pavel Pardo. Between the three of them, they have made an astounding 327 appearances, with Pardo making an impressive 145 of the total.
The players will convene on Monday, but given that the majority of the squad has club commitments before El Tri’s match on the 11th, the main gathering of players will start next weekend.
