Apertura: Quarterfinal Matches

In an unusual start to the Liguilla, the home and away matches of the quarterfinals of the Torneo Apertura 2008 will be played within a weeks time, as defined by the FMF.

The Federación Mexicana de Futbol (FMF), in accordance with the representatives of the eight teams qualified to the Liguilla, revealed the official dates and times for the quarterfinal matches of the Torneo Apertura 2008.

This will be an uncommon start to the playoff phase, since the teams will have a weeks rest between the home and away series.  

The home leg of the series will be played the weekend of 22 and 23 of November, and the away of match will be played seven days later, on the 29 and 30.

First Leg

Saturday, 22 of November
17:00  Cruz Azul - Pumas
19:00  Tigres - Atlante

Sunday, 23 of November

15:00  Tecos - Toluca
17:00  Santos - San Luis

Second Leg
Saturday, 29 of November

19:00  San Luis - Santos
21:00  Atlante - Tigres

Sunday, 30 of November
12:00  Toluca - Tecos
17:00  Pumas - Cruz Azul
