"Rayados" forward Humberto Suazo has been ruled out of the weekend match against Jaguares due to ligament inflammation in his left leg.

All signs indicate that Monterrey's Chilean forward Humberto "Chupete" Suazo will miss the visit to Chiapas when they face Jaguares in the Jornada 11 of the Torneo Apertura 2008.

It was revealed in medical tests during the week that the forward has an inflamed medial ligament in his left leg, from an injury he suffered against Pachuca last weekend.

The team doctor, Pedro Luna, stated that the Chilean's rehabilitation will take around five days and will not be recovered in time for this Saturday's match.

Monterrey veteran Jared Borgetti appears to be the candidate to fill the vacant attacking spot, after his participation has been limited to the bench in the past four matches.

The "Rayados" suffered a 3-1 defeat to Pachuca and are currently in the third spot of Group One with 12 points after ten weeks of action.  Humberto Suazo has started every match this season and has scored three goals.
