The Sounders boss reached the mark during Seattle's win over Houston, which sent the Sounders back to first place in the Western Conference.
Sigi Schmid won his 200thcareer MLS game Sunday night, becoming the first coach to hit that mark.
The Seattle Sounders defeated the Houston Dynamo 2-0 at CenturyLink Field, as second-half goals from Marco Pappa and Gonzalo Pineda ensured Schmid would hit the milestone.
The Sounders are Schmid’s third MLS team. He started in 1999 with the LA Galaxy, and coached the Columbus Crew from 2006 to 2008 before becoming Seattle’s first MLS coach in 2009. He won MLS Cups with LA in 2002 and Columbus in 2008.
Bruce Arena is second all-time with 168 wins, with Dominic Kinnear in third with 131.
