LA Galaxy 0-1 Colorado Rapids: Buddle strike the difference

Colroado striker Edson Buddle continued his run of good form with a vital goal against his former team.
The Colorado Rapids defeated a DP-less LA Galaxy 1-0, Colorado's first win at LA in nearly three years, with former Galaxy player Edson Buddle scoring a substitute goal.

With Landon Donovan and Omar Gonzalez on U.S. men's national team duty and Robbie Keane with the Ireland squad, the visitors took advantage to steal a vital three points.

Colorado took the lead in the 75th minute, when Vicente Sanchez dispossessed Todd Dunivant and wove his way into the Galaxy defense before laying off to Edson Buddle to smash into the top corner.

The result sees Colorado (11-8-9) reel in LA's (13-10-4) lead to just a point, although the Galaxy still have a game in hand.
