Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0 San Jose Earthquakes: Reo-Coker shakes up Earthquakes

The Englishman was in fine form as the home side punished the struggling Quakes.
Nigel Reo-Coker turned on his attacking style for the Vancouver Whitecaps, serving up a pair of assists from the right wing to lead his team to a 2-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.

Camilo Sanvezzo scored his tied-for-league-best 14th goal for Vancouver in the 60th minute, finishing off a counterattack after Nigel Reo-Coker had done excellent work coming out of the midfield and charging down the right flank.

Kenny Miller sealed the win in the 74th minute, finishing Reo-Coker's cross into the box where he was criminally left unmarked.

The Whitecaps occupy second place in the West, just two points adrift of the league's top club, Real Salt Lake. San Jose, dramatically down from last season's Supporters' Shield-winning form, are eighth in the conference.
