The RSL midfielder, New York defender and Seattle midfield engine joined three Portland Timbers to headline the 10 additional players receiving All-Star recognition.
Real Salt Lake's Javier Morales, New York Red Bulls center back Jamison Olave and Seattle Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso were among the 10 additional players to be named All-Stars, which is done in accordance with the league's collective bargaining agreement.
In all, 32 players receive All-Star nods -- four goalkeepers, eight defenders, 13 midfielders and seven forwards -- with the inactive All-Stars being determined by player voting.
The Portland Timbers had three players selected to the inactive roster, with goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts, midfielder Diego Valeri and forward Rodney Wallace all chosen. The remaining inactive All-Stars are Montreal midfielder Justin Mapp, Houston goalkeeper Tally Hall, LA Galaxy midfielder Juninho and FC Dallas defender George John.
Tim Cahill and Robbie Keane, who had to pull out of the All-Star Game because of injuries, are also on the 12-man inactive roster, with their places in Wednesday's game taken by Landon Donovan and Jack McInerney.
Among the most notable absences from both the active and inactive All-Star roster are New England goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth and defender Jose Goncalves, FC Dallas midfielders Michel and David Ferreira, Columbus Crew forward Federico Higuain, Sporting Kansas City forward Claudio Bieler and Philadelphia Union midfielder and MLS assist leader Sebastien Le Toux.
