The Sounders fought back from being down a goal to take down the Western Conference's last place team.
The visitors opened the scoring completely against the run of play, as they were under seige early. However, a missed clearance by the Sounders gave Carlos Alvarez the ball near midfield, and he knifed through two defenders before slipping Erick Torres a delicate pass. The 20-year-old on loan from Chivas de Guadalajara sidefooted home for his second goal in two MLS games.
It didn't take long for the home side to find the equalizer. Obafemi Martins slipped a pass into Brad Evans, who had made a darting run into the box from midfield. The U.S. international needed just one touch to finish under Dan Kennedy.
The Sounders took the lead just over 10 minutes into the second half. Martins played a low ball across the box which Mauro Rosales helped into the path of Neagle, who slammed home to the far post with his first touch.
