New England Revolution 5-0 Los Angeles Galaxy: Revs crush depleted visitors

New England took full advantage of a shorthanded Galaxy squad and earned three valuable points.
The New England Revolution got a big boost on Sunday with a 5-0 win over the LA Galaxy.

Saer Sene opened the scoring in the 34th minute. A well-worked give-and-go with Diego Fagundez set Sene free in the box, and he calmly slotted it home.

Lee Nguyen doubled the lead in the 71st with a deflected shot from the top of the box.

Fagundez would round out a nice individual game with a goal in the 87th minute, with Chad Barrett adding a fourth in stoppage time for good measure.

Kelyn Rowe added a fifth in the last minute of the game, giving the home fans a win to remember.

LA was without Robbie Keane and Omar Gonzalez, who were on international duty.
