Two goals in a minute sealed a 1-1 draw between the Revolution and the Red Bulls in Gillette Stadium.
At half time Tim Cahill made way for set-piece specialist Juninho. However, the Revs scored from a set piece instead. Off a Chris Tierney corner, Diego Fagundez reached behind him with an extended leg to wrap a shot on target, which bounced off Kosuke Kimura on the line. Fagundez pounced on the rebound to open the scoring.
A minute later New York exploited the lack of concentration from New England to equalize. Andre Akpan fed a pass through to Lloyd Sam, who slipped a low shot inside the far post for his first MLS goal.
New York moved a point ahead of the chasing pack in the Eastern Conference, albeit having played three extra games. The Revs are seventh in the East with 10 points from 10 games and six goals scored all season.
