FC Dallas added two players on Thursday, bringing back former midfielder Ramon Nunez and signing homegrown goalkeeper Jose "Jesse" Gonzalez to his first senior deal.

Nunez, 27, came to Dallas as a child from Honduras and played for Southern Methodist University before being drafted by Dallas in 2004. After leaving Dallas in 2007, he had spells with Chivas USA, Olimpia in Honduras, Mexican sides Pumas and Cruz Azul, and Leeds United and Scunthorpe United in England. He has made 44 appearances for the Honduras national team, scoring five goals.

“I am very happy to be working with Ramon again,” said FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman in a press release. “He has the qualities to help FC Dallas win championships. Ramon has the ability to break down opponents with his quick, explosive movements and he will help create goals for his teammates as well as score goals himself for FC Dallas.”

Gonzalez was born in the United States and plays for the Mexico U-18 national team. He is the 10th homegrown player signed by FC Dallas.
