Chivas USA fires Robin Fraser

The changes continued at Chivas USA this week, with the club laying off the entire coaching staff.
Chivas USA fired its coaching staff on Friday after finishing last in the Western Conference.

Head coach Robin Fraser had been in charge for two seasons. Prior to joining the Goats, Fraser was an assistant with Real Salt Lake. In the early years of MLS he played as a central defender for the LA Galaxy, the Colorado Rapids and the Columbus Crew.

Chivas also fired the rest of Fraser's coaching staff, including assistant Greg Vanney, technical director/scout Simon Elliott and athletic trainer Brian Lee.

Midway through the 2012 season, Jorge Vergara bought out ownership of the club from the Cue brothers. The Chivas Guadalajara owner recently appointed Jose David as president and Jose Luis Real as supervisor of soccer operations.
