The Philadelphia Union and Colombian forward Jorge Perlaza have parted ways after both parties agreed terms to terminate his contract.
In June, the 27 year-old joined the Union from Western Conference side Portland Timbers in exchange for Danny Mwanga, but found first team opportunities limited, making just two appearances for the club.
Perlaza began his professional career in his native Colombia with Atlético Huila aged 16 and has represented a total of six clubs – including two spells at Deportes Quindío – in a career spanning 11 years.
In two MLS seasons, Perlaza made 43 appearances, with 33 starts, and scored six goals.
