  • These teams straddle the line between making the playoffs and not, on fifth and sixth in the Western Conference. The Galaxy have seven more points than the Goats having played four extra games.
  • Los Angeles' three Designated Players -- David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane -- have combined for 11 goals and 11 assists in the last seven league games.
  • A 4-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders last weekend was the worst defeat for the Galaxy since Bruce Arena took over in August 2008.
  • When Chivas USA beat the Galaxy on May 19 it ended an 11-game SuperClasico winless run for the Goats. LA won the most recent meeting, 3-1, on July 21.
  • Traded to Chivas USA this month, Shalrie Joseph holds New England Revolution records for appearances (261), starts (254) and minutes played (22,867).
