Philadelphia Union team manager Peter Nowak fined and suspended by MLS

The Polish gaffer has been suspended one game by MLS.
Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber has suspended and fined Philadelphia Union team manager Peter Nowak for his involvement in a scuffle between the Union and Chivas USA on April 21.

Leaving his technical area to get involved in the altercation, Nowak contacted another player and entered the field of play. Nowak received a red card for the incident and has been suspended a further game for his actions. His fine totals $5,000.

Also involved in the incident was Chivas USA manager Robin Frasier who was only fined $500 for his actions.

Both clubs were also fined for the incident with the Union being docked $5,000 while Chivas seeing $2,500 in penalties.
