The Blues will make the trip stateside to take on the MLS All-Stars, according to FOXSoccer.com.A report on FOXSoccer.com has said that English Premier League giants Chelsea will be the opponent for the 2012 MLS All-Star Game at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. The match is set for July 25 at the home of the league's Philadelphia Union.
It will be the seventh time in eight years that the opponent for the All-Star Game will be from the EPL, with Manchester United serving as the opposition for the last two years.
Chelsea will be touring the United States again this summer and already has a contest set up with the Seattle Sounders for earlier in July. It won't be the first time the club has played the All-Star Game either as the Blues were the opponent in the 2006 redintion of the exhibition match.
The match will mark the first time the mid-summer contest has come to PPL Park in the stadium's brief existence.
