The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee has decided to suspended and fine New England Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph for a reckless challenge in his club's match against FC Dallas on April 5th.
Joseph, 33, will serve the suspension when the Revs take on D.C. United at RFK Stadium on April 14th. His fine was for an undisclosed amount.
A native of Grenada, Joseph has been a member of the Revs since 2003 and has made nearly 250 appearances for the club since then. He's also been capped by his national team 30 times, scoring three goals in the process.
